Had the pleasure of meeting Chief Houts a number of years ago, he and his wife visited New Zealand.

We discussed the EMERGENCY series and being cast as himself

It is with regret I hear of the passing of Chief Engineer Richard Houts ( Ret )
Chief Houts passed away in July 2021
I had the pleasure of meeting Chief Houts and his wife a number of years ago when they visited New Zealand
