I believe I read prior to Vernon going to the County, 41s was going to be placed in Bn 7. With Bn 13 getting bigger, they might've decided to place 41s into Bn 7. They do rearrange Bn's every so often.

West Covina, La Verne, and San Gabriel all have expressed their wanting to go with LACoFD. San Gabriel had gotten into asking for a survey by LACoFD, but I believe that has been put on hold for some reason. La Verne has expressed interest as well. West Covina is pushing hard to "Go County"...

Here is a pic of former E382 at the museum's South Gate storage facility, about May of 2001. It was acquired by Big Bear City FD, then reacquired by the LACoFD Museum. Don't know if it's been worked on or repainted back to red since this pic.

I remember quite a few of those rigs from my youth. I either lived in their district or an adjoining district. Thanks for posting.

Just got to thinking and no longer in the L.A. area, who gets moved up to 100s if E100 is on follow up to hospital? Seem to remember that 122s goes and covers 60s, when they are on follow up or oos for an extended amount of time.
