For those who dont know Chief Osby retired as Fire Chief, County of Los Angeles Fire Department today

It is with regret I hear of the passing of Chief Engineer Richard Houts ( Ret )
Chief Houts passed away in July 2021
I had the pleasure of meeting Chief Houts and his wife a number of years ago when they visited New Zealand

Over the last few months Eagle Emblems and e-bay have been selling LACoFD Patches

Just saw a photograph of a Patrol sitting in 118s Engine Bay, it also has 118 on the side and rear, just wondering if it is assigned there, or with all the brush fires around LA is it there for " just in moving around apparatus "
